McFly es una banda de pop-punk-rock procedente de Londres, Reino Unido formada por 4 chicos, ellos son:Danny Jones, que se encarga de la guitarra y la voz; Tom Fletcher también encargado de lo mismo que Danny; Douguy Pounter, encargado del bajo y los coros y Jarry Judo, de la batería.
Esta banda saltó la fama el 2004 con su primer disco “Room on the 3rd floor”.El nombre del grupo proviene de su actor favorito, Marty Mcfly.
La banda se formó en el 2002 pero no salió a escena hasta 2004, su primer albúm se convirtió doble en disco de platino. Gracias a este hecho, McFly se convirtió en la banda más joven en conseguir un álbum debut número #1 en el Reino Unido, récord previamente ostentando por “The Beatles”Un mes después del lanzamiento la banda hizo su primer gran tour.
En el mundo del cine, se interpretaron a si mismos en la comedia adolescente “Golpe de Suerte” en 2006. Como banda sonora de la película, publicaron un álbum en EE.UU cuyo nombre coincide con el de la película.
